Fulbrook Advisors Overview
Today when a business anticipates a significant transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring or refinancing, an array of external professional help and expertise will typically be required.
This help can include bankers, lawyers, accountants, corporate intelligence specialists, risk analysts and others. Ordinarily, the business will rely on its internal staff to identify, retain, and supervise this external team. It will then rely on the external team to identify and make available the most favorable business opportunity, and to implement the transaction through assisting in strategy formulation, negotiations, structuring, financing, and drafting. But in the current complex business environment, there are times when the needs of the moment exceed a company’s internal capacity to field and manage the best possible team for these projects. This is especially so because many companies have slimmed down their internal capacity while also expanding their reach and challenges internationally.
On some occasions, business entities would prefer to turn to a group of diverse professionals at the outset of its consideration of a particular project, such as to source broad professional assistance in identifying buyers or sellers in a merger situation. That support is sometimes also needed when an entity is looking for another party to join with it as a principal in a transaction, such as forming a joint venture or enterprise to establish a business, when the first party needs to source a variety of expert strengths it does not have but a diverse group of experts, with extensive experience and extensive, reliable, worldwide ties and relationships.
Fulbrook Advisors LLC (“Fulbrook Advisors” or “the Company”) was in 2007 created to provide a unique professional service to address these situations. It has assembled a group of distinguished professionals with comprehensive, diversified skills and experience who serve as the Company’s Board of Advisors. The Board members, drawing on their expertise and long-established relationships in fields such as banking and investment banking, private equity, law, accounting, corporate intelligence, risk analysis management, employment and insurance, are better able to take on the responsibilities that would otherwise fall to a company’s internal staff and its effort to identify and secure professional assistance and business opportunities, or fall beyond the entities abilities altogether.
From its established and tested relationships, the Board has selected a roster of professional institutions and individuals that the Company can mobilize quickly and confidently in order to meet the needs of the client and the situation involved. This roster is varied and comprehensive, allowing Fulbrook Advisors to precisely satisfy the requirements of the project, whether it is large or small, domestic or international. Of special importance, Fulbrook Advisors can select and tap specific, known individuals within a firm to help ensure that the right people are accessed for the project.
In this way, Fulbrook Advisors can do professionally and within an organized structure, all that is needed, and the resulting turn-key package can be delivered with a decidedly higher impact-to-cost ratio.
